Lincoln, ON – (Oct. 20, 2020) – The Town of Lincoln and Spark Niagara are excited to have you participate in the 2020 AgriTech Hackathon. With the Hackathon quickly approaching, time is running out to register for Ontario’s first and Niagara’s only AgriTech Hackathon.

Now is the time to preregister for Lincoln’s approaching AgriTech Hackathon.

Those who lock in their spot before Aug. 23 will have a chance to participate in a “mini-hack challenge” in October, with additional prizes, before the main three-day event taking place this November.

Ontario’s first ever AgriTech Hackathon, organized by the Town of Lincoln and Spark Niagara, took place on October 18th – 20th in Beamsville, bringing together agricultural experts and technological innovators for a hackathon geared towards solving issues facing Niagara’s agricultural industry.

This October the worms, beetles and bugs that can drive farmers crazy will meet a formidable match: computer hackers.

Thousands of dollars in prize money was up for grabs at a recent AgriTech Hackathon organized by Spark Lincoln & the Town of Lincoln.
